Here under is following the most intriguing stunnising progress ever... ahum. I try like everytime a new way , and this time is was to do everything in "chalk" or "pencil". eeh.. I don't know wich one anymore, on a coloured background, and building up the picture by lighten it layer by layer.

Life feeds on life feeds on life….

Hi, here a little multiple-choice:
A darkelve vampire is draining a Lammakuma. The man on the background is….

A: going to drain the girl
B: going to hug his hungry girlfriend
C: going to kill her
D: going to steal the Lammakuma
E: … *own answer*
Since it's just a portrait, I wanted to give it something extra, so that the viewer can make up it's own story.

I wanted to draw something impulsive, with no reference at all, just to see how far I am. I started with the thought to make a portrait of a vampire darkelf on a stairs with a window (but since vampires are allergic for light, the painting changed). My inspiration blocked when I started to doubt about the background. Also had some trouble with the light in her face, color choice and the fur. But I failed. So in the end I used a mirror, my rabbit (modeled nice for me).

Tips or suggestions are welcome (also other comments).

Light your wisp

Nooo, the *count*... 4 repainting! I hope I'm now statisfied with it for a while, guese not *sigh*.

The woman gloom's at the wisp's beauty. The way she looks at it shows how wonderful she believes wisps are. The picture has an another meaning. That sometimes in life we must stop rushing and look around for a moment. For there are so many wonderful things around us. And only if we stand still we will see them.

For reaching a romantic atmosphere:
I chose a complementary contrast (blue, orange light). I find that candlelight makes people prettier, the way the light shines upon her face is contrasting with the darkness around her, only the focus on her face. Also frontal light in someone's face gives a person a more opening look. The elements around the upper part of her body have softer edges, just for focussing and romanticize the picture. Anyway, that is what I've tried to communicate. Hoped it worked.

Well like always critics, comments, advice, tips, spam, hatemail &lovemail are welcome. Not that I would die or something if I don't get any, but it's motivating ^-^

keep your enemies closer

Did not know that repainting could be so much fun. Because I was so irritated by the older version (to chaotic, and hair sucks), it felled like a relieve. And after studying so many (smoggy, because that's the easiest ) forests, I even think I can make a tutorial "painting forest for dummies". It only freaks me out that I drawed it so realistic(than I expected) just with some strokes and blur *brrr*

The woman and a guard (man on the background) were searching in the forest for her lost mother. The search lead to an organ trader that was hidden in the forest. Seeing all the guts shocked the guard and he fainted. The mean man in leather armor (organ trader) caught the girl and tried to stab her. Meanwhile, the guard awoke and in a rush stabbed his sword straight trough him and accidentally through her. In the end completely shocked by his deeds, the guard ran off, leaving the two of them to the rats.
